IH-37 to Up River Road
COMPLETED
The construction will include new concrete pavement, driveways, pavement markings, signage, street lighting improvements, storm water drainage improvements, potable water improvements (domestic water distribution and fire protection), wastewater improvements, and gas line improvements.
May 3, 2023:
The contractor is currently working on punch-list items, which will be completed by the end of the month.
March 1, 2023:
The roadway is currently open to traffic.
December 9, 2022:
The Callicoatte Road contractor is currently working on the final punch list items for the project. This is expected to take about two weeks. The roadway is open to traffic.
September 21, 2022:
The Callicoatte Road project is 96% complete. AEP is scheduled to relocate poles at the end of the month. Once the poles are removed the contractor will continue installing the remainder of the storm water pipes.
July 15, 2022:
The Callicoatte Road project continues to move forward. The new concrete road has been installed and the contractor plans to begin removing asphalt to tie in the remailing sections of concrete. The project is currently 95% complete.
April 25, 2022:
The Callicoatte Road project is underway. The contractor has completed the installation of the 8 inch wastewater line and 6 inch waterline. Currently they are working on road excavation, compacting subgrade, and installing flex base. Weather permitting the project will see its first concrete pour on April 28th. The project is already 52% complete.
