Gollihar Road

Greenwood to Crosstown

The project will reconstruct Gollihar Road from Greenwood Drive to the Crosstown Expressway. The existing roadway will be demolished and rebuilt with new concrete pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA-compliant curb ramps, signage, pavement markings, RTA improvements, street light improvements, and traffic and pedestrian signal improvements. In addition to surface improvements, the Project includes stormwater, water, wastewater, and gas infrastructure improvements.

nProject Updates

October 31, 2023:
The contractor is working on the pavement from Greenwood Drive to Shaw Street. They are also removing the old water line and installing the new gas line from Shaw Street to Bernandino Street.

September 22, 2023:
The contractor has completed installing 75% of the utility infrastructure, and they are currently working on waterlines between Bernardino Street and Shaw Street. The project is on schedule and should be complete next year.

August 22, 2023:
The contractor has completed the roadway work from Prescott Street to Bernardino Street and continues to work on utilities between Bernardino Street and Shaw Street.

July 14, 2023:
The contractor is currently installing gas lines and water lines in front of Garcia Elementary in an effort to complete this area before the start of school in August. The forming and pouring of the concrete roadway is expected to take place in the coming weeks.

June 7, 2023:
The contractor has completed the mill and overlay of the roadway from Greenwood Drive to Prescott Street. They are currently working on manhole rehabilitation in the same area.
